Upshow.
Upshow started with trying to solve a problem in my brother Jonny’s cold-email agency. He was generating leads, but if a booked meeting did not happen, it was a lost opportunity.
Booked meetings that never happen.
Jonny was paid when people turned up to their sales meetings, so every no-show cost him. We began by looking at how personalised reminders could reduce no-shows, and when we could not find a product that dealt with the problem fully, we started building our own.
Around a third of people do not show up to sales calls, costing businesses when they are paying for leads and sales teams. Upshow aims to reduce this to an average of 10% by creating a personalised reminder sequence for each meeting and detecting no-shows in real time.
Listening to customers.
Our initial focus was on using personalised multi channel reminders to reduce no-shows. However, after talking with customers we found that the true value was in reducing all the manual work from booking to meeting, including rescheduling meetings and following up on cancellations. This changed the problem we were solving.
We have also begun to pivot from a standalone self-service platform to a software-enabled service. This allows us to sell an outcome instead of software, as well as reducing the friction that comes with onboarding.
What I built.
I built the scheduling system and the adjustable reminder sequences behind Upshow. Each meeting can have personalised reminders by email, SMS, WhatsApp and AI voice call, and the sequence changes when someone replies or asks to move the meeting.
When a meeting is rescheduled, Upshow can update the calendar, send a new invite and reset the sequence. It also uses meeting signals to spot a possible no-show while the meeting is still happening, giving the person a chance to join.
See it working.
See landing page ↗Upshow is live and currently has around ten users and we are in talks with multiple sales teams as well as telesales agencies to get the product into their workflows.

The next iteration
What comes next.
The next step is to bring booking links and booking pages into the same system. That would let us see the full journey from someone’s first click to the meeting itself, and learn which sequences, channels and timings work best. We also aim to become thought leaders in the no-show space, collecting data and allowing us to provide true value to our customers on what makes people show up to a meeting.
